JUST FOR FUN! Watch Pentatonix sing Carol of the Bells! It is the same song, but a different arrangement. They are singing “a cappella” which means: singing without accompaniment of instruments.

GLEE: Do Re Mi

Do Re Mi:

Let’s start at the very beginning

A very good place to start.

When you read you begin with A, B, C,

When you sing you begin with do re mi.

Do re mi?

Do re mi.

The first three notes just happen to be do re mi.

Do re mi!

Do re mi fa so la ti…

Doe,   a deer, a female deer,

Ray,   a drop of golden sun.

Me,   a name I call myself,

Far,   a long, long way to run,

Sew,   a needle pulling thread,

La,   a note to follow sew,

Tea,   a drink with jam and bread.

That will bring us back to do!

So do la fa mi do re.

So do la ti do re do.

Part 1: Do mi mi   mi so so   re fa fa   la ti ti (sing 4 times)

Part 2: When   you   know   the   notes   to   sing,

You   can   sing   most

Everybody: anything.

Part 1: Doe,   a deer, a female deer,

Ray,   a drop of golden sun.

Me,   a name I call myself,

Far,   a long, long way to run,

Part 2: Do,

                   re,

                   mi,

                   fa.

Sew,   a needle pulling thread, (a needle pulling thread)

La,   a note to follow sew, (a note to follow so)

Tea,   a drink with jam and bread. (jam and bread)

That will bring us back to

do re mi fa so la ti do!
